Get Rid Of Cellulite With The Latest Non-Invasive Treatments
Spring is coming soon and it’s a great time to finally get rid of cellulite.
We know how annoying and upsetting cellulite is. It is a common topic of conversation and Dr Lycka answers many questions about how to get rid of cellulite. The thing that you all hate the most is the dimpling that happens when those fibrous bands in the skin pull down, and the fat pushes up.
Do cellulite treatments work?
In the early years of cosmetic dermatology there wasn’t really anything that worked to get rid of cellulite. Dr Lycka remembers how depressing it was to have to tell patients that there was nothing to help them. However, over the years, many, many, treatments have come along, each getting better results.
What is working in 2017?
We are happy to share with you that here in 2017, you have plenty of great options to get rid of cellulite. And for those of you who don’t want liposuction surgery, there are some great non-invasive cellulite treatments available.
Talking with Dr Lycka on the podcast this week, we have a popular repeat guest, Dr Jeanine Downie. She is a board-certified dermatologist, from Montclair, New Jersey. Dr Downie specializes in the latest non-invasive cellulite technologies and combination treatments, and shares her latest techniques.
And of course, Dr Lycka has been treating cellulite for years, so the two doctors have a great discussion.
Firstly, they explain what is cellulite, and how much their patients hate it. We have a history lesson about the earlier treatments they have seen and used, and the results they created.
Dr Downie shares the latest technology she loves using for cellulite treatment, particularly ThermiTight, Vanquish, Exilis, and Cellutone. She talks about each treatment, how it works, and who is suitable for it. Both doctors love to combine treatment modalities and have some good results to share.
The importance of helping yourself.
Yes these treatments give great results. BUT, both doctors are passionate about patients helping themselves as much as they can. Both agree that a good ‘clean’ diet and regular exercise really help to maintain the results their treatments create.
