Other Filling Substances
There are several other filling substances available. These substances have different brand names such as Hylaform, Restylane, Perlane and Fine Line. Each of these is Hyaluronic Acid, a substance that is naturally in our body. Hence there is no need for allergy testing. This product is absorbed by the body. How long the effect of these products lasts is very individual. The treatment takes about 30 minutes and the result is prompt. The treatment area can be slightly swollen and red for 12 - 24 hours.
