Laser Tattoo Removal

Tattoos have been around for 5000 years. The desire to remove them has probably existed just as long. Early attempts at removal left less than desirable results, because scars were left in place.

All fields are required.

The advent ofQ-Switched lasers has permitted removal of most tattoo lines with a very low risk of scarring. The Medlite Q-Switched Nd: Yag is the newest system in the class of lasers.

Is the Process Painful?

The pain is akin to an elastic band snapping against the skin. If you find it too painful, local anesthetic can easily abolish the pain.

How Many Treatments Are Necessary?

Professional tattoos generally require 6 - 8 treatments. Amateur tattoos can be removed in a little as 3 - 4 treatments. However, the number of treatments varies with the individual.

Do All Colors Disappear Well?

Most do very well. Greens and Yellows are the hardest to remove.
